The Community Liaison Committee provides a dedicated forum through which the consent holder and neighbouring residents can openly exchange information about Redvale Landfill, raise and review concerns, and propose solutions; it also considers materials submitted by the consent holder under Condition 27D of the Landfill Management Plan, offers feedback, and consults on relevant matters in accordance with Condition 27F.

If you live near Redvale Landfill and Energy Park and notice an odour, we’ve made it quicker and easier to let us know.
Simply text 8601 with your details, and our Environmental Analyst will be notified immediately. If it's during operational hours, we’ll begin an investigation within 30 minutes – usually much faster. In most cases, our team is on the case within minutes.
Our process includes checking site operations, visiting the property where the odour has been reported, and working with our operational team to take any necessary action. This means we can identify and address issues promptly, while keeping you informed.
This new automated system ensures a faster, more reliable service for our neighbours. It’s part of our ongoing commitment to managing Auckland’s waste safely and sustainably.
