  • 2024 Public Holiday Information - Christchurch City Council

    • The collection will continue as normal on all public holidays except:

      • New Year's Day
      • Easter Good Friday
      • Anzac Day
      • Christmas Day

      On these days, bins for all properties will be collected the day after their normal collection day for the remainder of that week.

  • 2024 Public Holiday Information - Waimakariri District Council

    • Kerbside collections will move to the following day on these public holidays:

      • Christmas Day
      • New Years Day
      • Good Friday
      • ANZAC Day

      For all other public holidays, bins will be emptied as usual. Please make sure your bin is out by 7 am on your collection day.
