World Day for Safety and Health at Work Social Media Giveaway

Promotion Overview

The promoter is Waste Management NZ Limited (NZ company number 1795427) of 318 East Tamaki Road, East Tamaki, Auckland 2013 (WM New Zealand).

The WM New Zealand × Hato Hone St John World Day for Safety and Health at Work Giveaway (Promotion) commences at 12:00pm on 28 April 2026 and closes at 12:00pm on 5 May 2026 (Promotion Period).

WM New Zealand, in partnership with Hato Hone St John, is giving away five (5) St John First Aid Kits (each a Prize) which is suitable to a workplaces of up to 30 people.

The Promotion is a random draw from valid entries.

By participating in this Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

 

Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

  • Entrant must be a New Zealand resident aged 18 years or over.
  • Employees of WM New Zealand and Hato Hone St John, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.

2. How to Enter

  • To enter the promotion, entrants must submit a comment on the official WM New Zealand post on this Promotion on Facebook, LinkedIn or Instagram during the Promotion Period.
  • A valid entry requires the entrant to:
    1. Like the promotional post; and
    2. Comment on the post by responding to the question: “What’s one way your organisation helps take care of you at work?”
  • Only entries received during the Promotion Period will be eligible.
  • Limit of one (1) entry per person, regardless of platform.

3. Selection of Winners

  • Five (5) winners will be selected at random from all valid entries received.
  • The draw will take place on 5th of May 2026.
  • Winners will be contacted by private message via the social media account used to enter the Promotion
  • If a winner does not respond within three (3) working days, WM New Zealand reserves the right to redraw the prize.

4. Prizes

  • Each winner will receive one (1) St John First Aid Kit.
  • Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
  • WM New Zealand reserves the right to substitute a prize with an alternative of equal or greater value if necessary.

5. Partnership Acknowledgement

  • This Promotion is run by WM New Zealand in partnership with Hato Hone St John.
  • The Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn.

6. Consent and Media

  • By entering the Promotion, entrants consent to WM New Zealand using their name and entry comment for promotional purposes related to this Promotion, without any compensation.

7. Liability

  • WM New Zealand is not responsible for any late, lost, incomplete, misdirected or otherwise invalid entries, including those affected by technical issues.
  • To the extent permitted by law, WM New Zealand and Hato Hone St John are not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from participation in the Promotion or the acceptance or use of any prize.

8. General

  • WM New Zealand’s decisions regarding the Promotion, including interpretation of these Terms & Conditions and the selection of winners, are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • WM New Zealand reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the Promotion or these Terms & Conditions at any time without notice.
  • Any personal information collected will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and WM New Zealand’s privacy policy. Entrants may access or correct their personal information by contacting orders@wm.nz.
  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
