Our EV programme, which commenced in 2016, is part of our effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by transitioning from diesel to zero emission battery electric trucks. We currently have 27 fully electric trucks operating on the road and a number in build.
Our modern engineered landfills play an important role in protecting the environment. Capturing over 90% of the biogas produced from waste and turning it into electricty, our Redvale Landfill & Energy Park is Auckland’s largest renewable energy generator.
