Earlier this month, our Christchurch team worked with Christchurch City Council to launch a hazardous waste removal weekend to support Canterbury residents with the safe disposal of dangerous waste.
In 2020 Waste Management was able to cut operational carbon emissions and create enough renewable energy to power 24,000 homes.
We are committed to carbon neutrality by 2050, with science-aligned targets and a carbon reduction programme, overseen by our Carbon Reduction Committee. We report emissions from operations and landfills.
