Wheelie Big Fan Shootout Promotion

The promoter is Waste Management NZ Limited (NZ company number 1795427) of 318 East Tamaki Road, East Tamaki, Auckland 2013 (WMNZ).

The WM New Zealand – Wheelie Big Fan Shootout Promotion (Promotion) commences midday on Thursday, 18th of September 2025 and closes at midday on Wednesday, 29th of October 2025 (Promotion Period).

WMNZ The “Wheelie Big Fan Shootout” promotion is a game of chance run in connection with the WM New Zealand Netball Series. Eligible participants will have the opportunity to enter for the chance to be selected to appear on court during the first quarter break of a designated Series match.

Each selected participant will receive two (2) tickets to the nominated match and will take part in the on-court shootout competition. The winner of the shootout will be awarded a prize consisting of one (1) $300 Prezzy Card and one (1) official WM New Zealand Netball Series netball.

By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by all these terms and conditions.

Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

  • Applicants must be aged 10 years or older.
  • Applicants under 16 years of age must have the consent of a parent or guardian, who must also accompany them to the match.
  • Employees of WMNZ, Netball New Zealand, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

2. How to Enter 

  • Entries must be submitted via WMNZ’s official online application form.
  • Applications close at the time and date specified by WMNZ. Late or incomplete entries will not be considered.

3. Selection of Participants

  • One participant who meet the requirements of these Terms & Conditions will be chosen at random for each listed match in the WM New Zealand Netball Series.
  • The random draw will be completed three days before the chosen match date (Draw Date). The Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
  • The winners of the random draw will be notified by email or phone using the details provided on entry. If a winner cannot be contacted within one working day of the draw, that winner will automatically forfeit their win, and another winner will be randomly redrawn. This process continues until all winners are confirmed and notified. A working day is not a Saturday, Sunday, or a New Zealand public holiday.

4. Prizes

  • Each winner of the random draw will receive 2 tickets to the specified match.
  • Winners will compete in the Centre Court Shootout during the first quarter break.
  • The winner of the shootout will receive a $300 Prezzy Card and a WM New Zealand Netball Series Netball. A second prize of $200 will also be awarded per game.
  • Travel, accommodation, food, and any other expenses are the responsibility of the winner and their guardian (if applicable).

5. Requirements on the Day

  • Winners must:
    • Arrive at the venue of the match at least 30 minutes before the match for a safety and participation briefing.
    • Follow the instructions of WMNZ and Netball New Zealand staff at all times.
  • If a participant does not meet these requirements, WMNZ reserves the right to withdraw the opportunity.

6. Consent and Media

  • By particpating in the Promotion, each participant (or their parent/guardian if under 16) consent to being filmed, photographed, and having their name and likeness used for promotional purposes related to the WM New Zealand Netball Series without further compensation.

7. Liability

  • WMNZ will not be responsible for any late, lost, or misdirected entries, including entries not received due to technical problems.
  • WMNZ. To the extent permitted by law, WMNZ and its related companies are not liable for any loss or damage (whether direct, indirect, or consequential) arising in connection with the Promotion or any prize.

 8. General

  • WMNZ’s decision in respect of any dispute or interpretation of these Terms is final and no correspondence will be entered into with any participant or third party. WMNZ reserves the right to cancel or change any aspect of this Promotion and its terms, including the validity of any entry and disqualification of any participant, at any time without notice on its website at any time.
  • All personal information collected will be held by WMNZ in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and WMNZ’s privacy policy. Participants have the right to access and correct their personal information. Participants may correct any of their details by emailing orders@wm.nz.
  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
