Bin Placement and Access

Frontload Bin / Wheelie Bin  

Your Sales Specialist will be in contact to ensure you follow the instructions and to ensure we can safely provide the services. We need you to fill in a Customer Site Risk Assessment, this is a quick safety assessment to make sure our drivers complete your collections safely. 

If a customer site risk assessment was not required, the instructions on our website apply. If you do not follow the instructions, we are unable to complete your collection.  

Skip Bin 

When delivering your bin, our team can't lower it over fences or obstacles. They are not permitted on roads or footpaths unless a permit is obtained from the council.  

Once we've positioned your bin, please leave it in that spot. If you need to move it, please be aware that we can't be held responsible for any property damage that might occur as a result.  

To provide you with the best service, we kindly ask that you ensure our team has suitable access to your property. This allows us to deliver, inspect, collect, or exchange bins as needed, and to remove them when your hire period ends. Satisfactory access includes: 

  • Surface: Please place your bin on a stable, level surface. The area should have at least 4 metres of clear access width.  
  • Overhead Clearance: Our collection trucks need a clear height of 4 metres to operate safely. Check for overhead obstacles like power lines, low-hanging branches, awnings, or any other structures that might interfere with our equipment.  
  • Vehicle and Pedestrian Safety: Position bins in areas with minimal pedestrian or vehicle traffic. 
  • Exit Safety: Ensure bin placement allows our drivers to avoid reversing onto high-speed or dangerous roads when leaving the site.
