In light of the emergence of coronavirus (COVID-19), Waste Management’s corporate HSEQ team and national crisis response team are reviewing and updating our pandemic plan along with the Executive Management Team, to ensure it responds adequately to the specific nature of the current situation.
In addition, they are monitoring updates to World Health Organisation, WorkSafe and Ministry of Health recommendations and communicating with our teams at all branches.
Business Continuity Plans within each region have been reviewed to ensure they are prepared.
This process will continue for the foreseeable future, with ongoing review of our plans, so we are ready to act as quickly as possible as the situation globally and more specifically in New Zealand unfolds. At this stage Waste Management has not identified any supply chain issues for servicing customers and/or any business interruption to our regular operations.
