Fuel Surcharge Notice – Effective 1 April

There will be a $1.04 per tonne (plus GST) fuel surcharge added to landfill and transfer station charges from 1 April, reflecting higher fuel costs. For more information, click here.

Prices include GST. Payments at the kiosk via Eftpos, MasterCard or Visa

Exclusions:

  • Asbestos
  • Dangerous goods such as; flammable liquids, flammable solids, poisons, pool chemicals, gas bottles, paint
  • Explosives and fireworks
  • Agricultural residues or chemicals
  • Scrap motor cars
  • Animal by-products e.g. carcases, offal
  • Medical waste of any nature
  • Firearms
  • Tractor / OTR tyres

Note:

  • No cash payments on-site.
  • No handheld use of cell phones is permitted while on site.
  • We are not able to recycle glass and plastics at the North Shore Transfer station.
  • Cardboard is no longer accepted as a free service and is charged at refuse waste pricing.
  • We do not accept hazardous waste. A restricted waste list is available at the kiosk.
  • All persons under the age of 15 years to remain in vehicles at all times.
  • Enter at your own risk. No responsibility is accepted for any damage how ever caused.

Please note the North Shore Refuse & Recycling Transfer Station opening hours over Easter Weekend:

  • Good Friday: Closed
  • Saturday: 7:00am – 4:15pm
  • Sunday: Closed
  • Easter Monday: 7:00am – 4:15pm
