978 trucks delivered 1.42 million tonnes of waste to our transfer stations, keeping communities clean and safe across Aotearoa.
92,000 tonnes of food and garden waste were turned into 32,000 m³ of nutrient-rich compost, supporting soil health and sustainable land use throughout New Zealand.
23,000 tonnes of tyres were processed and repurposed into recycled products for roads, playgrounds, and other applications, keeping materials out of landfill.
Landfill gas is captured and converted into renewable electricity, capable of powering over 26,000 homes and supporting our electric fleet, with 100% leachate capture and treatment.
55 EV trucks travelled 2.1 million kilometres, avoiding 2,123 tonnes of CO₂e and reducing operational costs compared with diesel trucks.
WM New Zealand proudly backs Hato Hone St John and the Silver Ferns, securing naming rights for the International Netball Series and supporting local sport and communities.
