WM New Zealand Shines Courtside as the Silver Ferns Sweep the Taini Jamison Trophy

What a week for netball in Aotearoa — and what a privilege for WM New Zealand to be right there alongside it.

As naming-rights sponsor for both the Taini Jamison Trophy and the Constellation Cup, WM’s presence has been felt across the country. Our logo has shone on court, on the Silver Ferns’ dresses, and in front of sold-out crowds from Auckland to Invercargill. Just as inspiring has been seeing our own people step up as volunteers, helping create unforgettable experiences for thousands of fans.

The Silver Ferns dominated the Taini Jamison Trophy series, claiming all three matches against South Africa:

Auckland – Sunday 21 Sept, Eventfinda Stadium

Auckland – Sunday 21 Sept, Eventfinda Stadium

NZ 77 – 51 South Africa

A special moment for Assistant Accountant Jacky Jacobs’s daughter Skyla, who was our Auckland official ball carrier.

Napier – Wednesday 24 Sept, Pettigrew Green Arena

Napier – Wednesday 24 Sept, Pettigrew Green Arena

NZ 70 – 58 South Africa

The honour of delivering the ball went to Hazel, daughter of our Commercial Sales Specialist, Mel Blackmore.

Invercargill – Sunday 28 Sept, ILT Stadium Southland

Invercargill – Sunday 28 Sept, ILT Stadium Southland

NZ 57 – 56 South Africa

Another special highlight saw Madeline, granddaughter of Regional Manager Greg Nel, take centre stage as the game’s ball carrier.

Three games, three wins for New Zealand — and electric crowds every time.

Next up, the Ferns face their toughest rivals yet: the Australian Diamonds, with the Constellation Cup on the line:

  • Hamilton – Sunday 26 October, GLOBOX Arena — already SOLD OUT!
  • Christchurch – Wednesday 29 October, Wolfbrook Arena — tickets still available.

Across WM New Zealand, there’s a genuine sense of pride in backing world-class sport and supporting the communities we care about. Here’s to more unforgettable moments as the Constellation Cup gets underway.
